BenQ nReaderInterface Design

nReader is BenQ's first e-book.  Asymmetric main menu layout breaks the common rules of interface design and differs itself from other electronic devices. By giving most frequently used functions a larger space, it sub-consciously tells the users which specific function is more important than others. The design simplicity determines the tonality of the interface.  Without unnecessary decorative graphics, users can focus more on reading.

Design Inspirations

The design inspirations comes from comic books' layout. Since first generation BenQ nReader is focus on the commic books readers, using the familiar comic books style into the design to identify it's primary purpose of the device.
